GAP Talent’s Greenhouse Gas Reduction Target Statement

1. Reduction of GHG Emissions by 40% by 2030:


GAP Talent commits to reducing our overall GHG emissions by 40% by 2030, relative to our 2021 baseline. This ambitious target is aligned with the goals of the Paris Agreement to limit global temperature rise to well below 2°C above pre-industrial levels and to pursue efforts to limit the temperature increase to 1.5°C.

2. Carbon Neutral Operations by 2040:

We aim to achieve carbon-neutral operations by 2040, balancing any residual emissions with an equivalent amount of carbon removal. To accomplish this, we will prioritise reducing our emissions through energy efficiency, renewable energy sourcing, and sustainable business practices. 

We will also invest in high-quality carbon offsets and removal projects to address any remaining emissions.

3. Immediate Actions:


To achieve our long-term GHG reduction targets, GAP Talent is committed to taking immediate actions, including:

  1. Implementing energy-efficient measures across all offices and facilities.
  2. Encouraging remote work and virtual meetings to reduce employee travel.
  3. Adopting a green procurement policy to favour environmentally friendly products and services.
  4. Promoting sustainable commuting options for our employees, such as public transportation, cycling, and carpooling.
  5. Regularly monitoring, reporting, and verifying our GHG emissions data to track our progress and identify opportunities for improvement.

4. Collaboration and Advocacy:
