Our client is a dynamic and expanding restaurant group operating a diverse portfolio of 30 stores, encompassing both quick-service and casual sit-down restaurants in the vibrant Caribbean region. With an unwavering commitment to culinary excellence and guest satisfaction, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Group Director of Restaurant Operations to lead our culinary and operational teams to new heights.
This is an international post, (not remote) with full relocation support and housing or housing allowance provided with work permits.
As the Group Director of Restaurant Operations, you will be a key player in the success of our restaurant group. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of our diverse menus, maintaining kitchen health compliance, and overseeing equipment maintenance. Your role will encompass all aspects of food execution, including menu costing and collaboration with the sales team. If you are driven by a ‘hustle mentality’ and have excellent time management skills, this role is perfect for you. Your influence will extend to the bar side of the business as well, ensuring that all general managers are effectively running our stores.
- Collaborate on menu execution and ensure that it meets our high standards.
- Oversee and maintain kitchen health compliance to guarantee the safety and quality of our food.
- Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure that kitchen equipment is in optimal working condition.
- Ensure all chefs and kitchen staff execute food preparation to our standards.
- Understand menu costing to optimize profitability.
- Collaborate with the sales team to create a seamless dining experience for our guests.
- Demonstrate a ‘hustle mentality’ to lead and motivate our teams effectively.
- Extend your operational excellence to the bar side of the business.
- Work closely with general managers to oversee effective store management.
