We are seeking an experienced Sugar Farm Factory Manager to oversee operations, optimize productivity, and uphold the excellence of this esteemed operation.
About the Role
As the Factory Manager, you will be responsible for managing the production processes of a high-quality sugar manufacturing facility. Working closely with farm operations and the rum distillery team, you will ensure efficiency, safety, and top-tier output.
This is a hands-on leadership role in a remote yet stunning location, perfect for someone seeking a rewarding career and a tranquil lifestyle. However, due to the remote setting, this opportunity is better suited for individuals or couples without children of school-going age.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all factory operations, from raw sugarcane processing to final production.
- Drive efficiency, quality, and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with agricultural teams to synchronize harvesting and factory schedules.
- Manage a diverse team, including training, development, and performance management.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Analyze production data to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Liaise with the rum distillery team to ensure seamless integration of processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing a sugar factory or agricultural processing facility.
- Strong understanding of sugar production processes and machinery.
- Leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams.
- A degree or diploma in Agriculture, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Willingness to relocate to a remote Caribbean estate
