GAP Talent are working with a leading luxury Restaurant group. We are looking for an experienced Director of Food & Beverage in the Caribbean.

This person will be responsible for item development of the menu, menu components and recipes for use in all MCG restaurants. You will also coordinate and assist in organizing the set-up of cuttings requested by Vice President of Operations. The Director of Food & Beverage will act as leader in the areas of menu research, food & beverage trends and product development in accordance with the principles of continuous improvement and the of success for MCG. The Director of Food & Beverage will act as resource person, with respect to all menus and recipe issues, to all venues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement food and beverage strategies that align with the brand’s objectives and enhance profitability.
• Oversee daily operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring efficient service delivery and adherence to brand standards.
• Work with chefs and culinary teams to design and update menus, considering guest preferences, seasonal ingredients, and cost efficiency.
• Prepare and manage the annual budget for the food and beverage department, monitoring performance against targets.
• Ensure a consistently high standard of customer service across all outlets, addressing and resolving guest complaints promptly.
• Stay updated with industry regulations and standards, implementing necessary changes to operations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to secure quality products at competitive prices.

Skills and requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Food and Beverage or Red Seal Certified
• 5-10 years’ experience in a leadership role Food and Beverage including as an Executive Chef.
• Proven track record of managing multi-outlet food and beverage operations, preferably within a leading restaurant or hotel brand.
