Responsibilities:

  • Generator Operation and Maintenance:

– Operate and maintain generators with an electric power range suitable for the company’s needs.
– Monitor and troubleshoot generators, engines, heat exchangers, circulation pumps, exhaust systems, and control cabinets.

  • Efficiency Optimization:

– Implement strategies to maximize electrical and overall efficiency of generators.
– Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure peak performance.

  • Technical Support:

– Provide technical support to resolve any issues related to generators promptly.
– Collaborate with other engineering and operational teams to enhance system reliability.

  • Safety and Compliance:

– Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
– Stay updated on industry standards and best practices.

  • Installation and Upgrades:

– Assist in the installation of new generators and upgrades to existing systems.
– Collaborate with vendors and contractors for equipment procurement and maintenance.

  • Documentation:

– Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and equipment performance.
– Generate reports for management on system health and improvements.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in operating and maintaining generators.
  • Knowledge of engine technology, power systems, and related components.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
