Group Payroll Manager – Jamaica

We are looking to speak to Payroll Managers based in Montego Bay or within reasonable commute to Montego Bay for an incredible Group Payroll Manager role!

The Group Payroll Manager is responsible for the accurate and timely calculation and dispersal of employees’ pay and deductions in accordance with established practices and guidelines in all geographical locations of the company.

Supervision and training of the payroll team across all sites. Ensure all payroll is accurately recorded in the financial system, both actual and accrual. Prepare bi-monthly and monthly payroll analysis for Business Unit leaders as well as senior management.

Must Have’s:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or finance preferred.
• At least 5 years at senior level within payroll function.
• Strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• High level of integrity, ethics, and commitment to confidentiality.

Key Skills:

• Advanced proficiency in English, both written and oral communication skills.
• Advanced Excel skills, including VLookup and pivot tables.
• Experience in supervising others, including performance management where necessary
• Skill in establishing & maintaining effective working relationships across departments.
• Advanced analytical & problem-solving skills
• Strong systems knowledge, comfortable sourcing data across multiple systems to deliver comprehensive reporting and analysis.
• Able to work independently with efficient time management skills.
