As the Group Spa Training Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest level of service standards across our spa locations. You will be responsible for training and developing spa professionals to deliver exceptional experiences to our valued guests. Your expertise and guidance will contribute to the success and reputation of our luxury brand.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement comprehensive spa training programs that align with our brand standards and service philosophy.
- Develop training materials, manuals, and guides to support the delivery of training programs.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for spa staff, focusing on technical skills, customer service, and product knowledge.
- Assess training needs and identify skill gaps to develop tailored training plans for individuals and teams.
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to spa managers and staff to improve performance and enhance the guest experience.
- Collaborate with the HR department to identify talent and potential leaders within the spa teams.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and new techniques to continuously improve the training programs.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
- Support the opening of new spa locations by coordinating and delivering pre-opening training initiatives.
- Foster a culture of excellence, professionalism, and teamwork among spa staff.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Spa Trainer or Training Manager in a luxury hospitality environment.
- In-depth knowledge of spa operations, treatments, and wellness industry trends.
- Strong training and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire individuals and groups.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with diverse teams and cultures.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational abilities.
- Ability to assess training needs, develop tailored programs, and measure their impact.
- Familiarity with instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.
- Flexibility to travel between spa locations within the Caribbean region.
- Proficiency in relevant computer software and systems.
