MEP Engineer – Technical Drawings Specialist

GAP Talent are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented MEP Engineer Technical Drawing Associate. This role is based in the Caribbean and will offer full relocation support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and modify detailed technical drawings and schematics for MEP systems using CAD software.
• Collaborate closely with MEP engineers to translate project requirements into accurate and comprehensive drawings.
• Conduct thorough quality control checks to ensure drawings adhere to industry standards, local codes, and safety regulations.
• Maintain organized documentation of drawings, revisions, and changes for reference and auditing purposes.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including architects, structural engineers, and project managers, to integrate MEP systems seamlessly into overall building plans.
• Address and resolve technical issues or challenges that may arise during the design and construction phases.
• Effectively communicate technical information with team members, clients, and contractors.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in [relevant field] or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and their integration into building designs.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.
