Accountant – Part Qualified

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Part-Qualified Accountant to join our finance team.

As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in accounting and an interest in the private equity industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
  • Review and reconcile financial statements and reports
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting regulations and standards
  • Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
  • Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve financial discrepancies
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial guidance and support

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus)
  • Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role
  • Proficiency in using accounting software (experience with private equity accounting systems is a plus)
  • Proficient in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and regulations
