Director of Engineering – Caribbean Expat Opportunity
An exciting international opportunity has arisen for an experienced Engineer to lead a large team to be based full time in the Caribbean.
The business operates in the food industry with a particular focus on frozen seafood. The position will have full responsibility for providing technical engineering guidance to the refrigeration, electrical, mechanical maintenance and projects teams.
The main focus of the position will be to ensure refrigeration systems across the company operate efficiently and are upgraded and maintained to meet the requirements of the business, and that staff are suitably trained and allocated across the group. The successful candidate will be highly organised, have an eye for detail and have proven experience in leading teams by example to deliver to the highest standards.
Required:
- Degree or Masters qualified in relevant engineering sectors – Cold Storage, Electrical / HVAC / Engineering / Energy or other relevant qualification
- Ability to relocate in 8 to 12 weeks with financial assistance from the company – work permits provided
The position will be an international post based full time in the Caribbean, in an idyllic expat friendly location with housing allowances provided.
Package expected around $100,000 USD.
- Base: $70,000
- Housing: $18,000 – all utilities paid
- Vehicle: $12,000
- Return flight yearly
