Director of Food And Beverage – Caribbean

GAP Talent are working with a leading hotel brand which are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Food and Beverage to lead our culinary and dining operations for a large hospitality group. The Director of Food and Beverage will be responsible for driving innovation, maintaining high-quality standards, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences across our diverse portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the food and beverage departments in alignment with the overall goals of the hospitality group.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance the quality of culinary offerings, dining experiences, and overall guest satisfaction.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple food and beverage outlets, ensuring efficiency and consistency.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics to optimize operational effectiveness and financial success.
  • Lead the creation and development of innovative and diverse menus that cater to different demographics and preferences.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and incorporate new concepts to enhance the overall dining experience.
  • Implement and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
  • Conduct regular inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Develop and manage budgets for each food and beverage outlet.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure favorable terms and quality supplies.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team of culinary and service professionals.
  • Focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences through personalized service and attention to detail.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the food and beverage industry, preferably in a large hospitality group.
  • Strong business acumen and financial management skills.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal abilities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.


This role is based in the Caribbean and will require relocation. The salary is competitive and attractive as well as offering full relocation support.
