Head of Information Technology – Caribbean

GAP Talent are working with a leading hospitality company in the Caribbean region. As the Head of IT, you will play a
pivotal role in shaping and implementing our technology strategy to support the company’s overall business objectives.

You will be responsible for leading a talented IT team, managing IT operations, and driving technological advancements to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of industry trends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement an IT strategy aligned with the company’s overall goals.
• Provide visionary leadership to the IT team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing IT team.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting professional growth and development.
• Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of the company’s IT infrastructure.
• Ensure the security and integrity of data, systems, and networks.
• Identify and evaluate emerging technologies to drive innovation within the organization.
• Lead and manage IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational objectives.
• Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources.
• Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with third-party suppliers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated experience in managing IT budgets and delivering projects on time and within budget.

This role is based in the Caribbean and does require the individual to relocate. The organization will offer a full relocation package and benefits.
