Senior Construction Project Manager – Caribbean

GAP Talent is working with a market leader in the hospitality sector and are looking for a Senior Project Manager. This individual will have extensive expertise in project direction, management, and hands-on design for small to medium projects. The role will be based on a wonderful island in the Caribbean.

Key Responsibilities:

• Directing and managing all department-assigned projects.
• Leading personnel functions, including interviewing, evaluating, and supervising staff.
• Developing long and short-term project plans/programs and annual budgets.
• Specifying and procuring materials, finishes, fittings, and equipment.
• Ensuring compliance with regulations and approving inspection reports and payment requests.
• Monitoring program-related financial activity and expenses within budget limits.
• Recommending new hires, promotions, termination, and transfers to maintain staffing needs.
• Providing monthly executive reports and facilitating bi-weekly department meetings.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• Ten years of job-related experience.
• Five to ten years of experience in forecasting, construction, budgeting, and maintenance for projects.
• Relevant certifications are considered an asset.
