Senior Project Manager – Caribbean

GAP Talent is working with a leading restaurant group based in the Caribbean. We are currently seeking an experienced Project Managerwith a strong background in architectural design and extensive experience in restaurant refits, refurbishments, and upgrades.

This role is based in the Caribbean and will support the successful candidate with full relocation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all phases of restaurant refurbishment projects from initial concept and design through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Experience working with restaurant interior projects
  • Work closely with architects, interior designers, and construction teams to develop and refine project designs. Ensure that the architectural plans align with operational needs and aesthetic goals.
  • Source and manage relationships with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers. Ensure all parties are clear on expectations and deliver according to the project specifications.
  • Develop and control the project budget, approve project expenditures, and ensure a transparent accounting of all project costs.
  • Oversee the construction process, ensuring all work is performed to the highest standards and complies with all regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain regular communication with all project stakeholders, including senior management, team members, and external partners, providing updates and gathering feedback to improve project outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Proven track record managing restaurant refurbishment and upgrade projects, with at least 5 years of experience in project management in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of architectural design and construction principles.
  • Excellent leadership skills with an ability to manage diverse teams.
  • Strong financial and budgeting skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and project management software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD).
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
