Senior Director of Construction and Facilities – The Caribbean

GAP Talent is working with a market leader in the F&B industry. We are looking for Director of to Director of Construction and Facilities (The Caribbean) to lead one of our major projects.

This role is based in the Caribbean and will offer a full relocation allowance as well as an attractive and competitive salary. This leadership position requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical background, outstanding project management skills, and a passion for excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic direction for the maintenance department, overseeing the maintenance and repair of all facilities, equipment, and systems.
• Lead a skilled team of engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
• Inspects new construction, repair work, projects, equipment, work orders, daily maintenance and supplies for the purpose of ensuring that every aspect of the operation is managed to the highest standard.
• Maintenance and management of the ESSETS system
• Ensuring that jobs are completed efficiently; specifications for CAPEX improvements are within regulations; and approving inspection reports and payment requests.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in a senior engineering or maintenance role within the Food and Beverage industry OR hospitality industry.
• Strong project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of maintenance best practices, safety regulations, and compliance standards.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.

The salary will range from $90,000-110,000 per annum
